Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Shadow Creek Sharks (Pearland, TX) and the visiting Alief Hastings Bears (Houston, TX), saw Shadow Creek's basketball squad knock off Alief Hastings by a tally of 45-33.

With the victory, Shadow Creek improves its record to 23-3 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Alief Taylor (Houston, TX) to play the Lions in a 6A Region III District 23 challenge on Wednesday, January 26. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 18-9. Alief Taylor won 51-35 in their recent league challenge against Alvin (Alvin, TX)

Next up, the Bears play the Dawson Eagles (Pearland, TX) in a 6A Region III District 23 challenge, on Wednesday, January 26. Alief Hastings will attempt to improve on its 20-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 14-16 record after their 42-25 league loss to Pearland (Pearland, TX).
