Washington High School Basketball - Squalicum nudges Bellingham
January 21, 2022: Bellingham, WA 98225 Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bellingham Red Raiders (Bellingham, WA), 41-37 in a league bout.
With the win, Squalicum upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Storm host Blaine (Blaine, WA) to face the Borderites in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game on Wednesday, January 26. The Borderites enter the game with a record of 3-4. Blaine lost 50-29 in their recent league game against Meridian (Bellingham, WA)
With the defeat, Bellingham moves to 2-6 on the year. The Red raiders travel to Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA) to face the Wildcats in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game on Wednesday, January 26. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 1-7. Oak Harbor lost 59-49 in their recent non-league game against Mariner (Everett, WA)
