California High School Basketball - AGBU overwhelms Avalon
January 21, 2023: Avalon, CA 90704 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the AGBU Titans (Canoga Park, CA) and the host Avalon Lancers (Avalon, CA), saw AGBU's basketball squad wallop Avalon by a tally of 90-40.
With the victory, AGBU improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Titans host Oakwood (North Hollywood, CA) to confront the Owls in a Liberty challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 13-7. Oakwood won 59-49 in their recent non-league challenge against King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Lancers confront the Eastside Christian Eagles (Fullerton, CA) in a Freelance challenge, on Monday, January 23. Avalon will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-17 record after their 57-44 league loss to Anaheim Discovery Christian (Anaheim, CA).
