January 21, 2023: Wathena, KS 66092 The Bishop Ward Cyclones (Kansas City, KS) basketball nipped the host Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones (Wathena, KS), 63-60 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cyclones (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Cair Paravel (Topeka, KS). The Lions go into the Kansas City Christian test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Cair Paravel was tipped by Pleasant Ridge (Easton, KS), 44-43, in a non-league test.
The Cyclones now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Royal Valley for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24.
