Missouri High School Basketball - Mt. Vernon can't hold off Buffalo

January 21, 2023: Mt. Vernon, MO 65712

The Buffalo Bison basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Mt. Vernon Mountaineers to 42 in the Bison non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bison now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clever for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27.

The Mountaineers (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Logan-Rogersville (Rogersville, MO). The Wildcats enter the Big 8 contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Logan-Rogersville nudged Hillcrest (Springfield, MO), 58-54, in a non-league contest.
