January 21, 2023: Cleveland, TX 77327 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Willis Wildkats (Willis, TX) and the host Cleveland Indians (Cleveland, TX), saw Willis's basketball squad knock off Cleveland by a tally of 64-56.
With the victory, Willis improves its record to 13-16 on the campaign. The Wildkats host College Park (The Woodlands, TX) to play the Cavaliers in a 6A Region II District 13 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 22-6. College Park won 82-30 in their recent league challenge against Caney Creek (Conroe, TX)
Next up, the Indians play the The Woodlands Highlanders (The Woodlands, TX) in a 6A Region II District 13 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Cleveland will attempt to improve on its 9-13 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 18-7 record after their 61-49 league loss to Grand Oaks (Spring, TX).
