Indiana High School Basketball - Columbia City tops DeKalb
January 21, 2023: Columbia City, IN 46725 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Columbia City Eagles (Columbia City, IN) and the visiting DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN), saw Columbia City's basketball squad knock off DeKalb by a count of 46-37.
With the victory, Columbia City upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Lakeland (LaGrange, IN) to play the Lakers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 8-5.
Next up, the Barons play the Prairie Heights Panthers (LaGrange, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. DeKalb will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 84-58 non-league win over South Bend Career Academy (South Bend, IN).
