Ohio High School Basketball - Liberty-Benton trounces Columbus Grove
January 21, 2023: Columbus Grove, OH 45830 The Liberty-Benton Eagles (Findlay, OH) basketball crushed the host Columbus Grove Bulldogs (Columbus Grove, OH), 66-45 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles (15-0) will now prepare for their test against North Baltimore (North Baltimore, OH). The Tigers go into the Blanchard Valley test with a 1-13 record. In their last test, North Baltimore was trounced by Delta (Delta, OH), 55-36, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Continental for a Putnam County test on Saturday, January 28. Columbus Grove will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 63-51 non-league win over North Central (Pioneer, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 5-9.
