The Conroe Tigers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Oak Ridge War Eagles to 50 in the Tigers league victory on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Caney for a 6A Region II District 13 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Conroe will battle a Eagles team coming off a 72-57 league win over Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 10-17.

The War Eagles (5-19) will now prepare for their contest against Grand Oaks (Spring, TX). The Grizzlies come into the 6A Region II District 13 contest with a 22-9 record. In their last contest, Grand Oaks prevailed over The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX), 61-49, in a league contest.
