Tennessee High School Basketball - Creek Wood holds off Livingston Academy
January 21, 2023: Charlotte, TN 37036 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Creek Wood Red Hawks (Charlotte, TN) and the visiting Livingston Academy Wildcats (Livingston, TN), saw Creek Wood's basketball squad hold off Livingston Academy by a tally of 56-53.
With the victory, Creek Wood improves its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Red Hawks travel to Portland (Portland, TN) to confront the Panthers in a 3A District 9 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 7-15. Portland won 54-52 in their recent league challenge against Greenbrier (Greenbrier, TN)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Smith County Owls (Carthage, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 23. Livingston Academy will attempt to improve on its 15-2 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 49-33 league win over Watertown (Watertown, TN).
