Pennsylvania High School Basketball - West Middlesex overwhelmed by General McLane
January 21, 2023: Edinboro, PA 16412 The General McLane Lancers basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting West Middlesex Big Reds to 50 in the Lancers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Lancers now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harbor Creek for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. General McLane will battle a Huskies team coming off a 62-42 league loss to Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA). The Huskies record now stands at 8-7.
The Big Reds (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA). The Blue Devils come into the District 10 Region 2 contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Sharpsville triumphed over Reynolds (Greenville, PA), 50-34, in a league contest.
