Oregon High School Basketball - Myrtle Point overwhelms Glendale
January 21, 2023: Glendale, OR 97442 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Myrtle Point Bobcats (Myrtle Point, OR) and the host Glendale Pirates (Glendale, OR), saw Myrtle Point's basketball squad wallop Glendale by a tally of 77-49.
With the victory, Myrtle Point improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Powers (Powers, OR) to confront the Cruisers in a 1A Skyline challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Cruisers come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Powers lost 70-33 in their recent league challenge against Umpqua Valley Christian (Roseburg, OR)
Next up, the Pirates confront the New Hope Christian Warriors (Grants Pass, OR) in a 1A Skyline challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Glendale will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 52-29 league win over Pacific (Port Orford, OR).
