West Virginia High School Basketball - Wheeling Park trounces John Marshall
January 21, 2023: Wheeling, WV 26003 The Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV) basketball crushed the visiting John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV), 74-53 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Patriots (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Morgantown (Morgantown, WV). The Mohigans go into the Two Rivers test with a 12-1 record. In their last test, Morgantown walloped Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV), 97-59, in a non-league test.
The Monarchs now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they host St. Clairsville for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. John Marshall will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 91-81 non-league win over Bellaire (Bellaire, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 6-8.
