Kansas High School Basketball - St. Mary's-Colgan nips Liberal
January 21, 2023: Pittsburg, KS 66762 St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers (Pittsburg, KS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Liberal Bulldogs (Liberal, MO), 51-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Mary's-Colgan upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Panthers host Frontenac (Frontenac, KS) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Frontenac won 60-56 in their recent non-league bout against Fort Scott (Fort Scott, KS)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Drexel Bobcats (Drexel, MO) in a Western Missouri bout, on Friday, February 3. Liberal will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
