Ohio High School Basketball - Lima Senior nips Shawnee
January 21, 2023: Lima, OH 45801 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lima Senior Spartans (Lima, OH) and the visiting Shawnee Indians (Lima, OH), saw Lima Senior's basketball squad hold off Shawnee by a count of 69-65.
With the victory, Lima Senior upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host St. Francis de Sales (Toledo, OH) to play the Knights in a Freelance challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. St. Francis de Sales won 77-62 in their recent league challenge against Ross (Fremont, OH)
Next up, the Indians play the Van Wert Cougars (Van Wert, OH) in a Western Buckeye challenge, on Friday, January 27. Shawnee will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record.
