January 21, 2023: Providence, RI 02906 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI) and the host Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI), saw Bishop Hendricken's basketball squad wallop Hope by a count of 66-18.
With the victory, Bishop Hendricken upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI) to play the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 23. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the Blue Wave play the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 23. Hope will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 56-39 non-league loss to East Providence (East Providence, RI).
