Iowa High School Basketball - Waukon ripped by Waterloo West
January 21, 2023: Waterloo, IA 50702 The Waterloo West Wahawks basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Waukon Indians to 36 in the Wahawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wahawks now sport a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Iowa City West for a Mississippi Valley contest on Tuesday, January 24. Waterloo West will meet a Trojans team coming off a 58-48 league loss to Linn-Mar (Marion, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 10-4.
The Indians (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Elkader, IA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 14-0 record.
