South Dakota High School Basketball - Flandreau nips Parker
January 21, 2023: Parker, SD 57053 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Flandreau Fliers (Flandreau, SD) and the host Parker Pheasants (Parker, SD), saw Flandreau's basketball squad hold off Parker by a count of 25-20.
With the victory, Flandreau upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Fliers travel to Sioux Valley (Volga, SD) to play the Cossacks in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 3. The Cossacks come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Sioux Valley won 45-21 in their recent non-league challenge against DeSmet (DeSmet, SD)
Next up, the Pheasants play the West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Parker will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 52-28 non-league loss to Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD).
