Match Summary
On a cold afternoon we we pretty hot, posting a 4-nil halftime lead. Gabria nailed down Player of the Game with her unassisted game-winner less than two m. in. Three ticks later a Meghan-Claire combo assist was played to Lidia, who plunked it in from the middle of the 18. Meghan cracked in an almoster, stopped only by a tall save; then Aida rapped in a gravity-defier that skidded across the crossbar without falling, and Megan was just as close on a try that glanced off the right post. Our third goal came on Rhea’s free kick from 22 yd. out with 3 m. left in the half, and a minute later Tyler pasted one from just out their 6-yard box that closed out our scoring for the half, and Braden's defense kept them at 0 on their last-minute counter. In the second half Gabria came close on net-topper, Charlie was wide on her shot near their 6, and Claire’s great corner wasno't put in. Claire’s last corner was sent netward by Rhea, whose shot was blocked—and then spanked in by Aida for the 5-0 win.
