Indiana High School Basketball - Penn nudges Carroll
January 21, 2023: Fort Wayne, IN 46818 Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Carroll Chargers (Fort Wayne, IN), 51-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Penn upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Kingsmen host South Bend St. Joseph (South Bend, IN) to clash with the Indians in a contest on Tuesday, January 24. The Indians enter the contest with a record of 0-0.
The Chargers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Yorktown (Yorktown, IN). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Yorktown was nudged by New Castle (New Castle, IN), 54-42, in a league contest.
