Florida High School Basketball - Sumner crushes Leto
January 21, 2023: Riverview, FL 33579 Sumner Stingrays (Riverview, FL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Leto Falcons (Tampa, FL), 60-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Sumner upgrades its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Stingrays travel to Lakeland (Lakeland, FL) to play the Dreadnaughts in a non-league bout on Monday, January 23. The Dreadnaughts come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Lakeland lost 42-37 in their recent non-league bout against Auburndale (Auburndale, FL)
Next up, the Falcons play the East Bay Indians (Gibsonton, FL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Leto will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 64-54 league win over Hillsborough (Tampa, FL).
