January 21, 2023: Louisville, CO 80027 In Saturday's league test, the visiting Denver East Angels ice hockey team scored a tight 4-2 win over the Monarch Coyotes.
The Angels (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO). The Bruins enter the test with a 7-0 record. In their last test, Cherry Creek held off Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO), 2-1, in a league test.
Next up, the Coyotes encounter the Valor Christian Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a test, on Friday, January 27. Monarch will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Eagles enter the test with a 5-2 record after their 5-1 league win over Fort Collins (Fort Collins, CO).
