In Tuesday's league test, the Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ) basketball squad trounced the visiting Andrada Polytechnic Mavericks (Tucson, AZ), by a score of 69-21.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions (Tucson, AZ) in a 3A South test, on Wednesday, January 22. Thatcher will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 8-10 record after their 71-29 non-league win over Rio Rico (Rio Rico, AZ).
