Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bishop Shanahan fells Avon Grove
January 21, 2025: Downingtown, PA 19335 The Bishop Shanahan Eagles basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Avon Grove Red Devils to 48 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now have a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Downingtown West for a Ches-Mont - National game on Thursday, January 23. Bishop Shanahan will confront a Whippets team coming off a 61-41 league win over Downingtown East (Exton, PA). The Whippets record now stands at 10-7.
With the loss, Avon Grove falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Red devils host Coatesville (Coatesville, PA) to confront the Red Raiders in a Ches-Mont - National game on Thursday, January 23. The Red Raiders go into the game with a record of 13-2. Coatesville won 71-31 in their recent league game against East (West Chester, PA)
