Virginia High School Basketball - Osbourn Park toppled by Battlefield
January 21, 2025: Manassas, VA 20111 Battlefield Bobcats (Haymarket, VA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Osbourn Park Yellowjackets (Manassas, VA), 76-61 in a league match.
With the victory, Battlefield advances its record to 9-8 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Osbourn (Manassas, VA) to face the Eagles in a Cedar Run match on Friday, January 24. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 4-14. Osbourn won 62-46 in their recent league match against Freedom (South Riding, VA)
The Yellowjackets now own a 1-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manassas Park for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 22. Osbourn Park will face a Cougars squad coming off a 56-51 league loss to Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-11.
