Massachusetts High School Basketball - Braintree thwarts Durfee
January 21, 2025: Braintree, MA 02184 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA) and the visiting Durfee Hilltoppers (Fall River, MA), observed Braintree's basketball team knock off Durfee by a score of 69-59.
The Wamps (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Brookline (Brookline, MA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Brookline prevailed over Wareham (Wareham, MA), 73-56, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hilltoppers encounter the Bridgewater-Raynham Trojans (Bridgewater, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 24. Durfee will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 72-60 non-league loss to Lowell (Lowell, MA).
