New Jersey High School Basketball - Plainfield triumphant over Franklin
January 21, 2025: Plainfield, NJ 07063 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Plainfield Cardinals (Plainfield, NJ) and the visiting Franklin Warriors (Somerset, NJ), observed Plainfield's basketball team overwhelm Franklin by a score of 71-35.
The Cardinals (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rahway (Rahway, NJ). The Indians come into the Union County challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Rahway was routed by Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ), 56-50, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Ridge Red Devil (Basking Ridge, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Red Devil come into the challenge with a 13-2 record after their 41-25 non-league win over Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ).
