January 21, 2025: Redfield, SD 57469 Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD), 57-28 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton advances its record to 3-7 on the year. The Titans travel to Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD) to meet the Quarriers in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Quarriers enter the match with a record of 6-5.
The Pheasants now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamlin for a non-league match on Thursday, January 23. Redfield will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 88-47 non-league win over DeSmet (DeSmet, SD). The Chargers record now stands at 8-2.
