January 21, 2025: West Chicago, IL 60185 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the West Chicago Wildcats (West Chicago, IL) and the visiting Walther Christian Academy Broncos (Melrose Park, IL), observed West Chicago's basketball team knock off Walther Christian Academy by a score of 40-26.
The Wildcats (8-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Raiders come into the Upstate Eight - East challenge with a 11-10 record. In their last challenge, Glenbard South was knocked off by East Moline United (East Moline, IL), 53-32, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Broncos encounter the IC Catholic Prep Knights (Elmhurst, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Walther Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 18-3 record after their 59-45 non-league loss to DePaul College Prep (Chicago, IL).
