January 21, 2025: Macon, GA 31206 Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Rutland Hurricanes (Macon, GA), 42-20 in a league match.
With the victory, Jackson advances its record to 7-13 on the year. The Red Devils host Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA) to face the Gryphons in a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. The Gryphons enter the match with a record of 15-2. Academy for Classical Education won 32-20 in their recent league match against Central (Macon, GA)
The Hurricanes now own a 1-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morgan County for a AA Region 2 match on Friday, January 24. Rutland will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 54-39 league win over Callaway (Hogansville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-9.
