South Dakota High School Basketball - Mt. Vernon/Plankinton victorious over Redfield
January 21, 2025: Redfield, SD 57469 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans basketball team scored a good 45-25 triumph over the Redfield Pheasants.
The Titans (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kimball/White Lake (Kimball, SD). The Wildkats go into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Kimball/White Lake was toppled by Bridgewater/Emery (Emery, SD), 51-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Pheasants confront the Hamlin Chargers (Hayti, SD) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 23. Redfield will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Chargers go into the contest with a 10-1 record after their 59-34 non-league win over DeSmet (DeSmet, SD).
