Tennessee High School Basketball - Sand Rock holds off Signal Mountain
January 21, 2025: Signal Mountain, TN 37377 The Sand Rock Wildcats basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host Signal Mountain Eagles to 36 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now possess a 18-7 record. They play next when they host Hokes Bluff for a non-league game on Thursday, January 23. Sand Rock will confront a Eagles team coming off a 49-33 league win over Etowah (Attalla, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 15-6.
With the loss, Signal Mountain falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Eagles host East Ridge (Chattanooga, TN) to confront the Pioneers in a 3A District 6 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Pioneers go into the game with a record of 0-4.
