New York High School Ice Hockey - Victor knocks off Canandaigua Academy
January 21, 2025: Victor, NY 14564 In Tuesday's league contest, the host Victor Blue Devils ice hockey team scored a close 4-0 victory over the Canandaigua Academy Braves.
The Blue Devils (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Honeoye Falls-Lima (Honeoye Falls, NY). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Honeoye Falls-Lima edged Fairport (Fairport, NY), 4-3, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Braves play the Webster Schroeder Warriors (Webster, NY) in a Freelance contest, on Friday, January 24. Canandaigua Academy will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 10-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Gates Chili (Rochester, NY).
