January 21, 2025: Thoreau, NM 87323 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Thoreau Hawks (Thoreau, NM) and the visiting Laguna Acoma Hawks (New Laguna, NM), saw Thoreau's basketball team nip Laguna Acoma by a tally of 47-42.
The Hawks now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Zuni for a non-league bout on Friday, January 24.
