California High School Basketball - Amador Valley topped by Irvington
January 22, 2022: Pleasanton, CA 94566 The Irvington Vikings basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Amador Valley Dons to 47 in the Vikings non-league victory on Saturday.
The Vikings now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moreau Catholic for a Mission Valley contest on Tuesday, January 25. Irvington will battle a Mariners team coming off a 69-33 league win over American (Fremont, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 14-4.
The Dons (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against De La Salle (Concord, CA). The Spartans come into the East Bay contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, De La Salle prevailed over Livermore (Livermore, CA), 65-38, in a league contest.
