South Dakota High School Basketball - Castlewood fells Canistota
January 22, 2022: Castlewood, SD 57223 Castlewood Warriors (Castlewood, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Canistota Hawks (Canistota, SD), 67-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Castlewood upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to Colman-Egan (Colman, SD) to play the C-E Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 25. The C-E Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Colman-Egan won 52-45 in their recent non-league bout against Ortonville (Ortonville, MN)
Next up, the Hawks play the Ethan Rustlers (Ethan, SD) in a B Region 4 bout, on Monday, January 24. Canistota will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Rustlers go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 61-54 non-league win over Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD).
