Illinois High School Basketball - Cardinal Ritter College Prep holds off Peoria Notre Dame
January 22, 2022: Peoria, IL 61614 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cardinal Ritter College Prep Lions (St. Louis, MO) and the host Peoria Notre Dame Irish (Peoria, IL), saw Cardinal Ritter College Prep's basketball squad hold off Peoria Notre Dame by a tally of 67-66.
With the victory, Cardinal Ritter College Prep improves its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Curie (Chicago, IL) to confront the Condors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 29. The Condors come into the challenge with a record of 20-2.
Next up, the Irish confront the Champaign Central Maroons (Champaign, IL) in a Big Twelve challenge, on Friday, February 4. Peoria Notre Dame will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record.
