The Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE) basketball knocked off the host Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE), 58-46 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Longhorns (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Haxtun (Haxtun, CO). The Fightin' Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record.

The Plainsmen now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Holyoke for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 25. Perkins County will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 61-50 non-league loss to Limon (Limon, CO). The Dragons record now stands at 7-5.
