Kansas High School Basketball - Clay Center can't hold off Riley County
January 22, 2022: Clay Center, KS 67432 The Riley County Falcons basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Clay Center Tigers to 45 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Falcons now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wabaunsee for a non-league contest on Friday, January 28. Riley County will battle a Chargers team coming off a 71-52 non-league win over Santa Fe Trail (Carbondale, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 9-2.
The Tigers (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Republic County (Belleville, KS). The Buffaloes enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record.
