January 22, 2022: Tiffin, OH 44883 The Columbian Tornadoes (Tiffin, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, OH), 58-52 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tornadoes (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Perkins (Sandusky, OH). The Pirates go into the Sandusky Bay - Lake test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, Perkins got by Norwalk (Norwalk, OH), 48-39, in a league test.
The Minutemen now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Mansfield Senior for a Ohio Cardinal test on Friday, January 28. Lexington will encounter a Tygers squad coming off a 64-61 non-league loss to Shelby (Shelby, OH). The Tygers record now stands at 4-11.
