Idaho High School Basketball - Minico trounced by Rigby

January 22, 2022: Rupert, ID 83350

The Rigby Trojans routed the host Minico Spartans basketball team by a final score of 54-29 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Madison Bobcats (Rexburg, ID) in a 5A High Country game, on Wednesday, January 26. Rigby will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record. The Bobcats enter the game with a 11-4 record after their 80-34 non-league win over Bonneville (Idaho Falls, ID).

With the defeat, Minico moves to 8-6 on the year. The Spartans host Jerome (Jerome, ID) to face the Tigers in a 4A Great Basin game on Monday, January 24. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 14-1. Jerome won 75-38 in their recent non-league game against Buhl (Buhl, ID)
