January 22, 2022: Stonington, CT 06379 The Stonington Bears (Stonington, CT) basketball knocked off the visiting Old Saybrook Rams (Old Saybrook, CT), 80-63 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bears (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Lyman Memorial went down by Putnam (Putnam, CT), 55-52, in a league test.
The Rams now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host East Hampton for a Shoreline test on Tuesday, January 25. Old Saybrook will encounter a Bellringers squad coming off a 66-55 league loss to Portland (Portland, CT). The Bellringers record now stands at 5-4.
