In Saturday's non-league match, the host Academy for Classical Education Gryphons basketball team scored a good 51-37 triumph over the Strong Rock Christian Patriots.

In their next game, the Gryphons meet the Crawford County Eagles (Roberta, GA) in a A Public Region 7 match, on Tuesday, January 25. Academy for Classical Education will attempt to better on its 13-3 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 9-8 record after their 41-20 league win over Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA).

With the defeat, Strong Rock Christian moves to 5-8 on the year. The Patriots travel to First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA) to meet the Vikings in a A Private Region 1 match on Tuesday, January 25.
