January 22, 2022: Bayville, NJ 08721 Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Manalapan Braves (Englishtown, NJ), 61-29 in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles face the Toms River South Indians (Toms River, NJ) in a non-league game, on Thursday, January 27. Central Regional will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 4-10 record after their 61-21 league loss to Neptune (Neptune, NJ).
With the defeat, Manalapan moves to 2-7 on the year. The Braves host Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ) to face the Green Wave in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 25. The Green Wave enter the game with a record of 3-3. Long Branch won 48-39 in their recent non-league game against Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ)
