The Paxton Tigers (Paxton, NE) basketball nipped the host Hitchcock County Falcons (Trenton, NE), 42-35 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Tigers (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Maywood/Hayes Center (Maywood, NE). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 16-1 record. In their last test, Maywood/Hayes Center got by Bertrand (Bertrand, NE), 45-16, in a league test.
