Maine High School Basketball - Scarborough knocked off by Lewiston
January 22, 2022: Lewiston, ME 04240 The Lewiston Blue Devils basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Scarborough Red Storm to 39 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Portland for a AA North contest on Tuesday, January 25. Lewiston will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 40-35 non-league loss to Falmouth (Falmouth, ME). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-9.
The Red Storm (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against South Portland (South Portland, ME). The Red Riots enter the AA South contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, South Portland was defeated by Thornton Academy (Saco, ME), 67-54, in a league contest.
