Washington High School Basketball - Selkirk can't hold off Northport
January 22, 2022: Northport, WA 99157 The Northport Mustangs basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Selkirk Rangers to 49 in the Mustangs league victory on Saturday.
The Mustangs now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Inchelium for a 1B Northeast contest on Tuesday, January 25. Northport will battle a Hornets team coming off a 68-14 league win over Columbia (Hunters, WA). The Hornets record now stands at 6-3.
The Rangers (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Curlew (Curlew, WA). The Cougars come into the 1B Northeast contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Curlew edged Columbia (Hunters, WA), 70-16, in a league contest.
