Pennsylvania High School Basketball - DuBois overwhelms Bellefonte
January 22, 2024: DuBois, PA 15801 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the DuBois Beavers (DuBois, PA) and the visiting Bellefonte Raiders (Bellefonte, PA), saw DuBois's basketball squad wallop Bellefonte by a count of 64-26.
With the victory, DuBois upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA) to play the Chucks in a District 9 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Chucks come into the challenge with a record of 5-4.
Next up, the Raiders play the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. Bellefonte will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 65-27 league loss to Central (Martinsburg, PA).
