Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Desert Pines Jaguars (Las Vegas, NV) and the host Centennial Bulldogs (Las Vegas, NV), saw Desert Pines's basketball squad hold off Centennial by a tally of 74-73.

With the victory, Desert Pines improves its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Coronado (Henderson, NV) to confront the Cougars in a 5A Southern challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 14-8. Coronado won 74-70 in their recent league challenge against Silverado (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Bishop Gorman Gaels (Las Vegas, NV) in a 5A Southern challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. Centennial will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record.
