January 22, 2024: Langley, WA 98260 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the South Whidbey Falcons (Langley, WA) and the visiting Concrete Lions (Concrete, WA), saw South Whidbey's basketball squad overcome Concrete by a tally of 57-39.
With the victory, South Whidbey improves its record to 3-11 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Eastside Prep (Kirkland, WA) to play the in a 1A Emerald Sound challenge on Friday, January 26. The come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Eastside Prep lost 51-46 in their recent league challenge against Bush (Seattle, WA)
Next up, the Lions play the Coupeville Wolves (Coupeville, WA) in a 1B/2B Northwest challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Concrete will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 64-41 non-league loss to Neah Bay (Neah Bay, WA).
